10月29日、都内で行われたQS World MBA Tourに参加してきた。場所はシェルトン都ホテル東京。20近くのビジネススクールのブースが設置され、就職フェアのような雰囲気である。
私はこれまで志望校をロンドンのビジネススクールとかなり的を絞っていたが、今回は広く色々なビジネススクールを視野に入れるため、各スクールのブースを見て回った。一際人だかりができていたのが、INSEADのブースである。日本人卒業生が参加しており、日本語で一人ひとり質問に答えていた。
フランス、シンガポール、UAEの3つのキャンパスを持ち、10ヶ月のFull-time MBAコースを持つINSEADは私にも魅力的に映った。国際性と短期性とコンサル出身の生徒が多いことなどが理由に上げられる。また、9月入学だけでなく、1月入学もあるため、入学時期に柔軟性があるのも利点だ。
今度はINSEADも志望校の１つに入れ、来年または再来年の入学を目指して、粛々と準備を進めて行きたい。

I attended QS World MBA Tour on 29th of October. The venue was Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo. There were about 20 booths of business schools. It was like a career forum.
My choice was focused narrowly on business schools in London in the past, but I browsed around each booths at this time in order to broaden my view on business schools. It was INSEAD's booth that stood out in the crowd. Japanese alumni of INSEAD answered questions from participants one by one.
INSEAD attracted me because of its 3 campus in France, Singapore, and UAE, and 10-month full-time MBA course. Thus, INSEAD has diversity, short-term course and many students from consulting industry. Moreover, the school has advantage of flexibility of admission time which provides January intake and September intake.
I am going to prepare for MBA intake in next year or the year after that, considering INSEAD as one of choices.
